§ Mr. Lilleyasked the Prime Minister if she will make it her policy that the funding of the "Soil Survey of England and Wales" should be shared between the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Department of Education and Science and the Department of the Environment.
§ The Prime MinisterNo. The Soil Survey of England and Wales, although forming part of the Agricultural and Food Research Council organisation, has, since 1973–74, been funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. At present my right hon. Friend is reviewing the level of funding by his Ministry.
