HC Deb 13 December 1984 vol 69 c584W
Mr. Pendry

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what recent representations he has received alleging anti-competitive practices in boxing promotion; what action he is taking; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Macfarlane

I have as yet received no representations alleging anti-competitive practices on boxing promotion. These would be a matter for the British Boxing Board of Control and, if warranted by the circumstances, the Office of Fair Trading.
