§ Mr. John Fraserasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give the assumptions used to estimate the capital receipts to local authorities for 1985–86 in respect of the sale of council dwellings, including the number of sales, the sale price net of discount, the average level of discount and the ratio of private finance.
§ Mr. GowTotal local authority housing capital receipts in England in 1985–86 are forecast to be £1,595 million, of which £1,460 million will be from the sale of council dwellings. The detailed forecasts, including the underlying assumptions about council house sales, are as follows:
