§ Mr. Peter Bruinvelsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement concerning the planned use of the Lion Intoximeter 3000 breathalyser machine during the Christmas holiday period.
§ Mr. Giles ShawThe Lion Intoximeter and the Camic breath analyser testing machines will be in use in police stations during the Christmas holiday period on the same basis as at other times of year. The non-statutory blood/ urine option introduced on 16 April will continue to be available over the period.
