§ Mr. ButlerMinisters, service officers and officials regularly give public presentations and lectures on a wide range of defence issues. It is not possible to assess the cost of such presentations without disproportionate effort. In 1983–84 the cost of service recruiting and public relations films and exhibitions amounted to about £2.5 million. The cost of the RN and RAF presentation teams amounted to about £0.5 million, including manpower costs.
