asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will list the number of family planning clinics throughout the following regions; the north-east, the north-west, the midlands, the south-west and the south-east.

We do not hold centrally information in the form requested. At the end of 1983, the numbers of premises used regularly for family planning sessions in the regional health authorities covering the areas referred to by the hon. Member were as follows:

We do not collect this information centrally. The numbers of premises used regularly for family planning sessions in the United Kingdom at the end of 1982 and 1983 were 2,150 and 2,183 respectively.
