HC Deb 07 December 1984 vol 69 c285W
18. Mr. Home Robertson

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he plans any further changes in his Department's budget following the Chancellor's Autumn Statement.

Mr. Jopling

The changes in planned expenditure for 1985–86 were set out in the statement I gave on 12 November in reply to my hon. Friend, the Member for Wealden (Sir Geoffrey Johnson Smith), as supplemented by my statement of 29 November concerning the payment of hill livestock compensatory allowances. The expenditure plans for 1986–87 and 1987–88 will be published in the new year when I also plan to make a further statement about agricultural R & D.
