§ 42. Mr. Macleanasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he next expects to meet the president of the National Farmers Union to discuss the recommendations in Professor Bell's report on the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service.
§ Mr. JoplingI have no plans at present to discuss formally the recommendations contained in Professor Bell's report with the president of the National Farmers Union. However, I regularly meet the president of the National Farmers Union to discuss general agricultural matters and that gives us the opportunity to discuss the report. I have invited all interested parties to let us have their views on the contents of the report by 4 January 1985.
