What reports they have received concerning the consequences of the use of chemical weapons, herbicides and defoliants by United States forces in Vietnam in 1961–1971.

We are aware of the many reports in the media and from certain international organisations concerning the effects of herbicides and defoliants used by United States forces in Vietnam. We have also seen two reports on this topic published by the National Academy of Science in Washington in 1974 and 1980.
