§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what response he has sent to the principal of Herriot-Watt university in answer to letters he has received from him concerning the proposed measures relating to students' grant allocations.
§ Mr. Allan StewartMy right hon. Friend has received one letter from the principal of Heriot-Watt university about the Government's proposals in respect of students' allowances in 1985–86, but has not yet had the opportunity to reply to him. He will, however, do so shortly.
