asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many sheltered housing schemes are operated to full standard and how many not to full standard by each London borough; how many dwellings they involve; and what proportion of local authority stock in the borough they represent.

Statistics on sheltered dwellings are provided to my Department each year by local authorities, by dwelling but not by scheme. The number given by each London borough for sheltered dwellings within its area, and the proportions of local authority stock they represent, were on 1 April 1984 as follows:
