Assumption on changes in price and earnings levels in 1984–85 are consistent with the "Autumn Statement 1984". In particular, earnings are assumed to increase by 7½ per cent. over 1983–84 in line with the underlying rate of increase assumed by the Government Actuary in his recent report.

August. They are free to begin trading on completion of satisfactory security arrangements. The zones at Southampton and Liverpool have now opened.
