§ Mr. LuceFollowing our earlier verification proposals, the United Kingdom is considering tabling a further working paper next year on how to verify that certain civil chemicals are not diverted into illicit military200W stockpiles. As I made clear in my reply to the hon. Member on 29 October at column 815, we seek a comprehensive chemical weapons ban. A limited or regional ban would not be an adequate substitution.
