§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe number of deaths from cervical cancer is already falling but we are seeking to make further progress towards this objective through our cervical screening programme. We issued revised guidelines on the implementation of our policy to health authorities in July. A copy of the guidance, HC(84)17, is in the Library.
