§ Mr. Eggarasked the Prime Minister whether she will publish the report on the multi-department scrutiny of consultancy, inspection and review services in Government; and if she will make a statement.
§ The Prime MinisterYes. I have today arranged for a copy of the efficiency unit's report to be put in the Library. The report points to a further stage in the Government's financial reforms begun in 1982. I endorse its recommendations and look to the leadership of the Civil Service to implement them.
