asked Her Majesty's Government:

By what means they intend to implement the European Community Directive on Misleading Advertising adopted by the Council of Ministers on 10th September.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Trade and Industry (Lord Lucas of Chilworth)

The Government propose to implement the Directive by regulations under the European Communities Act 1972, following consultation with the relevant interests.
