§ Mr. Allan StewartI refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend's letter to him of 22 October. Current information is available by age and sex for the former Greenock travel-to-work area and (from June 1983) for the revised Greenock and Port Glasgow travel-to-work area, and may be obtained from the House of Commons Library. The change in October 1982 from a registrant to a claimant based count affects the comparability of the data for the former Greenock travel-to-work area over the five years.
