§ Mr. Trippier[pursuant to the reply, 3 December]: Information about expenditure on regional industrial assistance is kept by reference to employment office areas, but in the case of regional development grants only payments over £25,000 are allocated in this way. The borough of Knowsley is not conterminous with any ECM but covers parts of several.
