§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Energy what is his response to the proposals made in the report by the Industry and Employment committee of the Greater London council on transfer of coal stocks to power stations.
§ Mr. GoodladI see absolutely no need to contemplate the measures advocated in this report. Stocks of fuel at power stations, together with continuing supplies, should be sufficient to meet full electricity demand well into next year.
