§ 40. Mr. Maudeasked the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received on the proposed northern relief route for the west midlands.
§ Mrs. ChalkerSome 6,000 completed questionnaires have been received in response to the public consultation exercise. In addition about 300 written representations have been submitted together with responses from local authorities and other interested bodies. We are currently considering all these and hope to announce our decision in the new year.
