§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) whether the published figures for clear-up rates in the Metropolitan police area for the first six months of 1984 include any changes which result from the experiment referred to in his written answer of 28 November, Official Report, column 493;
(2) what has been the clear-up rate for murder in the Metropolitan police area in each of the last five years; and what it has been in the three police authority areas with the best clear-up rate for murder and the three areas with the worst, excluding the Metropolitan and City of London police.
