asked the Secretary of State for Employment whether there is to be any additional allowance made for the more disadvantaged groups of those without a job, such as disabled persons, now that they will be required to travel further to receive a full jobcentre service, particularly in rural areas.

It is envisaged that the existing arrangements for the reimbursement of fares to unemployed job seekers attending pre-arranged interviews at Jobcentres at some distance from their home will continue. Special provision is made under these arrangements for disabled people.
