§ Mr. Barry Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will produce a table showing the total expenditure of local authorities, in each year from 1 April 1978, on bed-and-breakfast accommodation for households accepted under the Housing (Homeless Persons) Act 1977; and if he will give this information (a) for Wales and (b) for each local authority district in Wales.

It is not possible to separately identify expenditure on households accepted under the House (Homeless Persons) Act 1977. Other expenditure on the provision of temporary accommodation for the homeless is not readily identifiable.
