HC Deb 30 April 1984 vol 59 cc14-5W
Sir John Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what arrangements have been made for an inspection of the Royal Ulster Constabulary; and whether the House will be informed of the result.

Mr. Scott

An inspection of the Royal Ulster Constabulary is currently being carried out by Her Majesty's inspector of constabulary for the north-western region. In keeping with the procedure in England and Wales it is not the practice publicly to disclose the contents of inspectors' reports.
