asked the Secretary of State for Energy how much revenue has so far been lost by the National Coal Board as a result of the overtime ban and the industrial action.

Mr. Giles Shaw

The National Coal Board has said the combined effects of the overtime ban and the industrial action worsened the NCB's revenue results by some £200 million in the financial year ended 31 March 1984.
