§ The Prime MinisterThere are no plans to merge the Manpower Services Commission with the Department of Education and Science. We do not believe that such a further change in the structure of Government is required. Good communications already exist between the Department of Employment, the Department of Education and Science and the Manpower Services Commission. As we announced in the recently published White Paper "Training for Jobs" these will be further strengthened in the future.
