§ Lord Lucas of ChilworthThe European Community has since 1979 monitored the activities of Easternbloc merchant fleets, including those of the USSR, in certain major liner trade routes serving the Community. This monitoring exercise is a continuing process; the information that is gathered is of a commercially sensitive nature; and the Commission's reports have not, therefore, been published.
