§ Lord Aveburyasked Her Majesty's Government:
Whether the spouse and children of a person recognised as a refugee will also be recognised as refugees if they are of the same nationality.
§ Lord EltonHer Majesty's Government observes the recommendation in the Final Act of the conference that adopted the 1951 United Nations Convention relating to the Status of Refugees. The circumstances of each case are examined in accordance with that recommendation.
