§ Mr. AncramNoise insulation is offered to eligible householders in accordance with the Noise Insulation (Scotland) Regulations 1975. Window treatment generally takes the form of instalation of secondary windows inside the existing ones. Existing windows can be replaced by new double windows if this is essential; but my Department has not considered such replacement essential in any of the houses in Dundee in respect of which insulation has been offered.
