asked the Secretary of State for Social Services in what percentage of cases in the 12 months ended 31 December 1983 the three main contractors for the supply of artificial lower limbs to his Department met their contractual delivery dates; what were the variations in performance between the contractors; and if he will give all percentages to the nearest whole figure

The figures requested are as follows:

All contractors 28 34 31

The indications are that the period by which contractual times are exceeded is gradually being reduced.
