§ Mr. David MitchellThe five air misses reported by the pilots of civil helicopters in the period 1 January to 31 March 1984 occurred outside controlled airspace as follows:
9 January 1709 GMT Offshore east of Aberdeen 11 January 1330 GMT Offshore north-east of Aberdeen 13 March 1127 GMT Offshore north-east of Aberdeen 14 March 1100 GMT Offshore south-east of Aberdeen 15 March 1103 GMT Offshore north-east of Aberdeen The circumstances are under investigation by the joint airmiss working group which includes representatives of both civil and military aviation interests.
