asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will publish tables showing, by county, the number of complaints received by his Department of persistent interference to domestic television reception.

The information is not available in the form requested. However, in 1983 British Telecom's radio interference service completed investigations into 48,588 complaints of interference to television reception. The totals for individual British Telecom regions are as follows:
