§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give for each year since 1980 the total number of notifications of private hospital development which (a) did not subsequently lead to applications for planning permission, (b) led to successful applications but not to actual developments, (c) led to successful applications and also to actual developments, (d) led to unsuccessful applications and went no further, (e) led to unsuccessful applications which went to appeal but were lost, (f) led to unsuccessful applications which went to appeal and were won but which did not lead to actual developments and (g) went to appeal successfully and led to actual developments; and if he will give for each category for each year the total number of beds involved.
