§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give for each year since 1979 the total number of National Health Service staff resident in accommodation provided by the National Health Service breaking down the figures by type of staff.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeInformation is not held centrally on the numbers of staff resident in accommodation provided by the National Health Service but it was recently estimated that some 11,000 junior doctors, 35,000 nurse learners, 29,000 other nurses and much smaller numbers of other staff were resident.
