HC Deb 13 April 1984 vol 58 c463W
Mr. Gould

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he expects to conclude his consideration of the Green Paper on "Intellectual Property Rights".

Mr. Fletcher

The Prime Minister indicated in her introduction to the Green Paper that the Government wish to seek views widely before attempting to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of the actions proposed. To that end wide ranging consultations are currently being undertaken. Although the timetable will depend to some extent on the results of these consultations. I hope to complete my consideration of the Green Paper by the end of this year.
