§ Mr. Campbell-Savoursasked the Attorney-General if he intends to prosecute The Observer newspaper for offences connected with the publication of official information.
§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Metropolitan police are at present conducting an inquiry into the circumstances in which certain official documents were communicated to staff ofThe Observer. At the conclusion of that inquiry a report will be submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions. No decision will be taken until that report is received.
