§ Mr. Lyellasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish in the Official Report a list of all schemes dependent upon conditions attached to probation orders as provided for by the Criminal Justice Act 1982 which offer the courts alternatives to custody for heavy end offenders aged 17 years and over, showing in each case the available duration of each scheme and the number of places offered thereunder at any one time.
§ Mr. MellorComprehensive information about such schemes is not held centrally; but I shall be glad to see what information is readily available, and will write to my hon. and learned Friend.
