§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeRevised target profit rates for companies supplying medicines to the NHS were introduced on 1 April. As I said on 8 December at columns 477–79 in announcing these changes a number of other matters arising from the review of the pharmaceutical price regulation scheme, in particular a study of transfer prices, still had to be resolved. We shall be discussing these matters with the industry's representatives in due course.
