HC Deb 12 April 1984 vol 58 c368W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what is his estimate of the consumption of milk in Wales at the latest available date.

Mr. Nicholas Edwards

While information on the total consumption of milk in Wales is not available, estimates derived from the national food survey indicate that consumption of liquid milk by households in Wales in 1982 amounted to 4.40 pints (2.50 litres) per person per week.
