§ Mr. Corbynasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied with the standard of cleanliness of Barking general hospital.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeI understand there is an industrial dispute in progress which might be having an adverse effect on the present standard of cleaning. I have no reason to believe that there are any problems with the standard of cleanliness in this hospital in ordinary circumstances. These are, however, matters for the local health authority.
