§ Mrs. ChalkerI have received some 20 representations from individuals and organisations about the construction of a Poynton bypass. They include a petition of 4,182 signatures requesting that the proposed A6(M) Stockport north-south bypass should terminate at High lane unless a relief road for Poynton can be constructed concurrently.
§ Mr. Arnoldasked the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received since May 1979 about the construction of the High lane-Disley-New Mills bypass.
§ Mrs. ChalkerI have received representations from 15 individuals and organisations urging me to include bypasses of High lane, Disley and New Mills in the trunk road programme.
