asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report, by number and percentage, the public sector houses in (a) Glasgow and (b) Scotland which come under the category of system built, industrialised buildings constructed in the 1960s and 1970s

Information is not available in the precise form requested. For the period 1965 to 1977, however, the total number of system built industralised houses and no-fines houses built in Glasgow was 16,500 (representing 8.8 per cent. of the 1983 public sector housing stock) and the total in Scotland as a whole was 93,500 (representing 9.2 per cent. of the total 1983 public sector stock).
