Whether there are plans to raise elements of the TA in Berlin.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces (Lord Trefgarne)As part of our plans set out in Defence Open Government Document 84/02 to raise Territorial Army Units from British citizens resident on the continent, we intend to form a Territorial Army Royal Engineer troop, some 30 strong, from British nationals living in Berlin. We hope to begin recruiting shortly.
