HC Deb 11 April 1984 vol 58 c264W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Wales in how many cases he has been asked to consider use of his default powers in respect of failure by local authorities to provide services under the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act; what case is still under consideration; if he will give details of this case: and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

My right hon. Friend has been asked to consider use of his default powers in respect of six cases put before him. I refer to the answer I gave to the hon. Member for Caernarfon (Mr. Wigley) on 2 April, at columns 380–81, in respect of the other information.
