§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many representations he has received since 1 January 1984 with regard to shoddy and dangerous work in the building industry by unregistered traders.
§ Mr. TrippierSince 1 January 1984 I have received six letters complaining about shoddy work in the building industry and none about dangerous work. One of these letters suggested traders should be registered.
