asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is now able to make an announcement about extending a tenants exchange scheme to Scotland and between tenants in England and Scotland.

As I announced in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Strathkelvin and Bearsden (Mr. Hirst) on 22 March, it is our intention that the tenants exchange scheme should be extended to Scotland from 1 June 1984. [Vol. 56, c.551.]
