§ Mr. BrookeAccording to the best figures available, some 500 Soviet students have studied in British universities and colleges under the Anglo-Soviet cultural 131W agreement since 1972, for periods of four to normally ten months. Their subjects of study were mainly scientific. The students came from all areas of the Soviet Union.
