§ Mr. HurdThe information requested is not collected centrally in this form and could not be obtained without disproportionate cost. However, table 3 of the Report on the Work of the Prison Department 1982 (Cmnd 9057) provides details of the highest numbers of inmates sleeping two or three to a cell for the years 1971–82 in all prison department establishments.
