§ Mr. Evansasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what was the cost of potatoes imported into Great Britain in 1983, by country of origin; and what were the comparable figures for each year since 1970 at constant 1970 prices;
(2) what was the value of the British potato crop in 1983; and what was the value of each year's crop since 1970 at constant 1970 prices;
(3) what tonnage of potatoes was imported into Great Britain, and from which country, in 1983; and what were the comparable figures for each year to 1970;
(4) what is the estimated tonnage production of potatoes in Great Britain for 1984; and what were the appropriate figures for each year to 1970;
(5) what acreage of land is currently being used in Great Britain for the growing of potatoes; and what were the comparable figures for each year to 1970.
