asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give the latest available figures for revenues received in relation to oil extracted from wells in areas of British jurisdiction for 1983.

The latest estimate of United Kingdom oil revenues, inclusive of royalties, petroleum revenue tax and corporation tax before any ACT set-off is £8.9 billion in 1983–84.
